Massive ceramic sculpture of a man. The sculpture is an eclectic mix of modernism, art-brut and cubism and is built up out of 3 pieces (concrete foot, ceramic body and ceramic head)
The sculpture is signed by the artist J. Hoefkens and is made in the 1990' s at the academy of Koksijde (Belgium).
It has been standing for years in the garden at the atelier of the artist and it has a nicely weathered patina.
Subtle decorations have been applied to the sculpture by the artist.
